Drivers going westbound from 109 to 97 can't see peds and cyclists crossing 97 Ave, raise the crossing and/or place bumps before the crossing, any traffic calming device to slow down drivers before the crossing.

I hope to see more scramble in the city, it's safer for everybody, though I see impatient drivers ignoring the new no-turn-on-red rule pretty often. More awareness campaign & enforcement should follow through.

While it provides good protection against drivers, it poses some danger to pedestrians veering into the "bike lane", especially kids and pets suddenly darting out. Southbound section is done right, separating peds/cyclists using trees, but northbound section is just widened sidewalk. Ei

Drivers heading eastbound on 83 don't have stop sign, and while they have to stop for pedestrians crossing, they're often ignored. Turn it into a full 4-way stop to make drivers stop and check before proceeding, or raise the crosswalks at least.

Passing on this path towards the gazebo in the warmer weather there's always a noticeable slight smell of sewage, which really makes the experience of taking a walk in this area of the river valley less pleasant.

I found that the stairs in the Edmonton River Valley to be a great feature of downtown. They provide a place for people to be able to workout outdoors in city itself, as well as a way to get to the lower roads and areas more efficiently from the downtown core on foot. The Royal Glenora Stairs a
